A sports facility booking platform that lets players discover, compare, and instantly reserve turfs and courts in their city — from football grounds to badminton courts.
Turf is a mobile app built for sports enthusiasts who want to skip the hassle of phone calls and last-minute cancellations when booking a playing ground.
The Challenge
Booking a sports turf in most cities is still a phone-call affair — dependent on the availability knowledge of a single manager, prone to double-bookings, and completely opaque for users who don't know which facilities exist nearby. Venue owners, on the other hand, struggled with no-shows and inefficient slot management.
Our Approach
We tackled both sides of the marketplace. For players, we built a discovery-first experience — map-based search, rich venue cards with photos, amenities, and real-time slot availability. For venue managers, we designed a lightweight dashboard to manage slots, view bookings, and reduce cancellation friction.
The booking flow was engineered to be sports-specific: users pick the sport, the venue, then the date and duration — in that order — matching the natural mental model of how people plan a game.
